To reserve your stay in the designated Callaghan block of room, you must make your reservations by July 1st. The hotel will honor the room rate until the 29th but you may be placed on a different floor.

Meet and greet shipmates

Day One:  JULY 30

TOUR OF THE JOHN DEERE TRACTOR PLANT This is the ONLY US manufacturing plant for Deere tractors. Please NOTE: Deere tour (riding no open shoes/ no cameras /no cell phones)

A Trip to the NATIONAL GUARD ARMORY AND GROUT MUSEUM to see modern technology and visit with servicemen. They really love to visit with WW2 veterans. We will have LUNCH there provided by the PT Grillers.

FEE: $20.00 per person

DAY TWO:  JULY 31

TOUR OF NOSTALGIC IOWA FARM, AND DINNER IN THE BARN.

Later a MEMORIAL SERVICE at the Soldiers and Sailor's Pavilion on the Cedar River.

FEE: $30.00 per person

DAY THREE: AUG. 1

FREE DAY, FOLLOWED BY THE ANNUAL BANQUET and special speaker. (Usually around 6 or 7 pm) 

(Bob writes) " There is a lot to do in Waterloo. Restaurants, shopping and a casino within 10 minutes of our hotel. The hotel provides shuttle service to and from the Waterloo airport and to the casino. Or stay and visit. The hospitality room will be open all day."

FEE: $35.00 per person.
