USS Callaghan DD 792 64th Reunion July 3 - July 6, 2009
Welcomes You to Texas!
Robert Cooper and his family would like to extend an invitation to all of you to join him for the annual ship reunion of the survivors of the U.S.S. Callaghan DD792 in Fredericksburg Texas, July 3rd through July 6th. Arrival is expected on July 2nd, and please note: This year there is not a family sponsor. Therefore arrangements will need to be made including travel from the airport to San Antonio. Arrangements are underway to secure travel arrangements from some local family members. We will need to know your needs as soon as possible. Itinerary Day One: July 3rd † We will head for the main event the Nimitz Museum. This large museum is in honor of Admiral Nimitz the Admiral whom was in charge of the naval fleet during WWII. At 10:00am a dedication of the Callaghan’s plaque will take place. This plaque will join several hundred others already on display from your fellow naval brothers and sisters whom served with you. More details to follow, donations are welcome. † Day Two: July 4th † We’ve reserved this day for you to tour Fredericksburg, and take in the local shops and sites @ your leisure. Fredericksburg is a wonderful small German town, with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Day Three: July 5th
† The hospitality room will be open each day all day, so you may visit and catch up with each other.

Complete the day with our annual banquet and a special speaker. Hotel accommodations are set with the Inn on Barons Creek in Fredericksburg, which is at the center of downtown and right next door to the Nimitz. A block of rooms has been reserved at 149.00 per night. Hotel information is
